Incredible bike and great service.

These Aethos bikes certainly live up to all the positive reviews, as it's the best bike I've ever ridden. Super comfortable, agile and fast, it just begs you to keep pedaling and it almost feels effortless at times. I bought the bike to extend the range of my riding this year, and it's certainly going to accomplish that with no problem. Sierra Bicycle supply was a true pleasure to work with as they quickly answered all my questions by phone, took my order, and within two business days had my Aethos built, set-up and shipped. Upon arrival all I had to do was put on the front wheel and reattach the handlebars. What a great, and easy company to deal with, not to mention a great price for this bike!

Overall a good deal

Bike arrived mostly built and setup, and very well packaged. Kudos for the tubeless tires. Bike is sharp, haven't gotten to really check out what it can do as it is still winter here, but impressed with the limited amount I've ridden. Would be a 5 star if not for a couple of very minor issues, ad stated the bike was in stock, so when it was well over a week before it shipped I was thinking the worst. Turns out they had to bring it in and build it before they could ship, but I only discovered that after calling to see what was up. A little better communication would have gone a long ways. Only other issue was the set screw on the cable for the seatpost lever wasn't tightened down sufficient, so when I pushed the lever the cable pulled right out and frayed the end of the cable. I'll have to replace the cable. I generally check bolts for tightness, but assumed it had to be right as I'm sure they had to test the post. Otherwise all good. I saved a good deal of money by purchasing online, the tradeoff is having to figure out some details on your own. If you have even moderate skills the level of build you get delivered should present no issues.
