To take full advantage of a damper’s capabilities, FOX engineers pursued the optimal design to provide ultra-low friction under load by turning the traditional fork design on its head with an inverted chassis, providing unmatched damping sensitivity when combined with the award-winning Grip X2 damper
At the core of Factory Podium Inverted is uncompromising fore-aft stiffness made possible by oversized 47mm upper tubes and a generatively-designed crown structure, allowing riders to hold precise lines with total confidence—even at downhill speeds
To further increase torsional stiffness, FOX replaced the standard 15mm axle with a steel 20 x 110mm Boost DH axle, distributing forces more evenly across the lower leg interface
175mm of bushing overlap is 32% more than the 38 and even 7% more than the FOX 40 to deliver an unbeatable chassis stiffness and reduced friction under heavy loads
The FLOAT EVOL GlideCore air spring, designed with built-in lateral and axial compliance, allows the spring to flex with the fork under high loads, reducing binding and stiction for a smoother ride feel, improved small bump sensitivity, and better control when the terrain gets wild
Specially tuned GRIP X2 damper, known for its four-way adjustability and race-proven control, offers enhanced compression damping to match the fork’s reduced friction and slightly softened rebound to balance lower unsprung mass, resulting in a damping curve designed for aggressive descending, enduro competition, and eMTB domination

The battery does exactly what it is supposed to. 50% more juice for those longer rides. The purchase experience was disappointing. The website says "Ready for pickup in 2–4 days — Or ships today" In reality, it shipped more than a week after I placed the order.

S Works Prevail 3 Fits Like a Glove
The S-Works Prevail 3 is one of the most comfortable bike helmets I’ve worn. The fit system adjusts perfectly, and once I ratchet the MIPS cradle to my head, the helmet almost disappears — it conforms so well that I barely notice I’m wearing it.
Ventilation is excellent. Riding in moderate weather around the mid-70s, my head stayed cool and comfortable without overheating. The airflow design really works.
Thankfully, I haven’t had to test the helmet in a crash, and I hope I never do. But the build quality and design give me a lot of confidence in the protection it offers. Highly recommended.
