Introducing the all-new Search helmet—designed for riders who seek adventure on two wheels. With the biggest vents in its class for maximum ventilation, Search is like having an air conditioner on your head. Taking high-performance features and cooling beyond racing, Search combines the best of both worlds—S-Works-derived innovation and performance with a modern, clean design. Whether gearing up for a gravel ride, lining up for a local event, or your morning commute, the Search helmet keeps you cool no matter the destination.
All adventures tend to take us a little out of our comfort zone, so when dirt road descents get a little dicey, Search has got you covered with MIPS Evolve Core Solution and a 5-Star Virginia Tech® helmet rating from the internationally renowned Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Combining confidence-inspiring features, functionality, and S-Works-derived ventilation, the Search epitomizes all-road adventure helmets.
Sunglass Storage: The Search helmet features innovative sunglass storage with hidden rubber flaps that maintain a secure, rattle-free fit when keeping riders’ glasses safely stored on long climbs, low light descents, and moments of rest. Riders can easily insert and remove their glasses, even when in the saddle. Our sunglass storage solution also keeps the space between the helmet and your head clear - eliminating discomfort.
Ventilation: Pulling inspiration from the S-Works Prevail 3, the Search features a similar ventilation system with huge rear exhaust ports—helping expel hot air pulled in through the front end, keeping a constant flow of cool air within the helmet.
Fit System: The Search helmet shares the same premium FS3 Fit System and Occipital base adjustment with our S-Works Evade 3 and S-Works Prevail 3—enabling riders to personalize the fit for added comfort through tuning the helmet angle to ensure that the helmet and eyewear stay perfectly synched.
For helmets sold in the U.S. and Canada: Complies with U.S. CPSC Safety Standard for Bicycle Helmets for Persons Age 5 and Older.

I used to have an Edge 540 Solar which was not touch, and it was truly a pain to use. It felt like it was designed to be touch, then last minute added as a non-touch option. But I did like the data screen and the size. The solar charging was minimal, so when my Edge 540 was stolen I opted for the touch version without solar and I couldn't be happier! It has a good battery life, touch works so much better than the button versions, and the lack of a solar frame helps in certain light conditions as the solar frame would provide some glare once in a while. Highly recommend!
Sierra Bicycle Supply responded to my complaint in less than 2 hours and issued a refund for the defective tube.
This indicates to me that they are a good customer-oriented organization.
ORIGINAL COMPLAINT:
Both tires and tubes were well packaged and arrived safely. (All Condition Armadillo 700X25 and Standard Presta Valve tube 700X20-28C) I installed them and pumped them up with no problem. The next time I went to ride, the rear tube valve had a substantial leak. Loosening the nut and pressing the release pin resulted in a loud air leak that does not stop when I release the pin. The loud leak appears to stop when the nut is firmly tightened. I don't trust this arrangement.
I’ve had several cruxes, including an S works crux and for the money this is quite the value. I did a gravel race and cyclocross Race on my new DSW crux after cracking my S works frame in a Bike Crash. I was really impressed. Sure it’s about a pound heavier, but it has 90% of the performance. Great price point and probably more robust for CX.
