Pick the GRID Casing for a light and supple ride, that still offers sidewall protection panels. If you need additional stability and durability, scale up to GRID Trail which adds bead-to-bead protection on top of the GRID base. When it comes to compounds, firmer rubber—like the T7—prioritizes rolling speed, and longevity, but still has excellent grip. Our T9 compound is a gummy, gravity compound with loads of stickiness, for the rider won’t compromise on grip. Whatever trails you ride, the tactical tread pattern of Purgatory plus casing and compound options make it a great tire to level up your ride.

The CLX III are exceptional I was a little apprehensive about buying them having ridden the Enve 4.5 but you feel less crosswinds and their lighter and spin fast. The spokes seemed to offer a lot of dampening vibration. Win win in my book.

S Works Prevail 3 Fits Like a Glove
The S-Works Prevail 3 is one of the most comfortable bike helmets I’ve worn. The fit system adjusts perfectly, and once I ratchet the MIPS cradle to my head, the helmet almost disappears — it conforms so well that I barely notice I’m wearing it.
Ventilation is excellent. Riding in moderate weather around the mid-70s, my head stayed cool and comfortable without overheating. The airflow design really works.
Thankfully, I haven’t had to test the helmet in a crash, and I hope I never do. But the build quality and design give me a lot of confidence in the protection it offers. Highly recommended.
I feel like I bought a used bike with all of the things I discovered when I got it.
One of the SRAM AXS batteries was DOA and Sierra made it painful to get it replaced, so I just bought a new one on my nickel. I had to trash the tires that had dried sealant in them and I couldn't completely clean it out. It should have come with tubes but was converted to tubeless which I wasn't expecting. I paid a mechanic to go thru the build and he found lots of things not right in the assembly of the bike. It is all good now but I did incur additional cost to make it good.
