Sometimes an act of creation begins with an act of destruction. For the new Sagan Collection, the rainbow has been deconstructed—broken down to its core components to celebrate a rider defined by much more than rainbow stripes. It began with an almost absence of color and continues now with stunning, shimmering colors and graphics that are as beautiful and mercurial as the masterpieces Peter paints on the road.
Look up. Yes, if you're lucky enough to be outside, that's the sun above. Now touch the top of your head. Yes, this susceptible portion of your body is being constantly berated by that sun above. Over time, this could lead to some issues, which is why we developed our Deflect™ UV Cycling Cap. It's not a substitution for sunscreen, per say, but it will help combat the harmful effects of ultraviolet rays.
Now; it's important to note that we didn't make this cap out of tinfoil, meaning that it's not a cure-all bit of snake oil. It does, however, serve up a UV 50+ level of protection, which is more than your hair or helmet are offering. Makes switching chainrings very easy… although you do need a specific tool for the job.
The new price for a replacement for my gen2 is silly. This one is better price and works, you just have to swap the bash guard and bumper at top. This is a better price and I also got a sale discount. much more reasonable. Thanks!
I'm glad I bought these guards. They do what they're made for: No more bruised or bloody ankles from smacking rocks or cranks. I do have to say, however, that the photo seems a little misleading to me. I thought these would have a smooth finish like other G-Form products, based on the photo. Instead, they are fabric, so only time will tell on durability.
