Mechanical shifting at it’s best. Eagle 90 delivers the dream, and then some. Featuring the same Full Mount derailleur architecture as it’s AXS Transmission siblings, it is unquestionably robust. And for the just in case, the derailleur body features replaceable outer and inner parallelogram links, skid plates, and a tool-free threaded cage assembly, making it the most rebuildable derailleur SRAM has ever built. At the heart of the system is a sleek and sturdy forged aluminum DUB crankset, with a signature silver T-Type chainring equipped with removable bash guards. Shifting under load is a signature of Eagle Transmission, and this is made possible on 90 with an XS-1275 T-Type cassette that features full X-Sync technology, and a premium double-click T-Type Actuation mechanical shifter. For those inclined to DIY, mechanical Eagle Trans-mission has a revolutionary simple four step setup procedure: Prepare. Hang. Tighten. Route. Featuring no limit screws, no b-tension, and no guesswork. Built to take you as far as your imagination and body will allow, Eagle 90 Transmission provides riders with an unparalleled ride experience.

Makes switching chainrings very easy… although you do need a specific tool for the job.
The new price for a replacement for my gen2 is silly. This one is better price and works, you just have to swap the bash guard and bumper at top. This is a better price and I also got a sale discount. much more reasonable. Thanks!
I'm glad I bought these guards. They do what they're made for: No more bruised or bloody ankles from smacking rocks or cranks. I do have to say, however, that the photo seems a little misleading to me. I thought these would have a smooth finish like other G-Form products, based on the photo. Instead, they are fabric, so only time will tell on durability.
