The TCD provides necessary features for the Vado SL bike, but is far from state of the art

I have both a Vado 4.0 and a Vado SL 4.0. Unlike the Vado, which comes with an excellent, integrated color computer, the SL does not include an integrated computer. Unfortunately, the color computer is not an option for the SL, with the only option being to add the TCD. While the TCD provides much of the important functionality provided by the integral Vado computer (eg, battery status, cadence, turbo setting), it uses an outdated B&W LCD display, which is much harder to read. In addition, set up is confusing and operation is less intuitive. That said, if you want to add a computer to an SL bike that syncs with the bike, this is the best/only option.
