The day I found the Aethos Pro on the Sierra Bicycle Supply site and ordered the bike was the first great day. The second great day was when it arrived (Sierra did a great job of packing & shipping) and I assembled it,
and the third of many more was the day I took it out for a 32 mile shake down ride. Well,
I have been riding a Specialized Roubaix for the past 5 years and love the bike and will continue to ride it. The Aethos is in a category by itself, as I warmed up and started to crank up the watts, I was amazed at the fluidity of the ride. Using the same power as the Roubaix I found myself going 1.5 mph faster and the small hills we have here were all flattened out. What an incredible work of engineering, the geometry is so comfortable even in the drops I can't get enough time in the saddle. Absolutely a fantastic bike, light, responsive, smooth Di2 shifting what more could you ask for. Hats off to the designers at Specialized for creating a bike you dream about at a price point it is easy to live with.

Tires are fantastic and give me a plush ride on the all aluminum framed e-bike. (Specialized Vado Sl). Great turnaround time and got the tires in a couple of days!
Bike is very good to ride - however there were cosmetic issues due to shipping/handling I guess. There were multiple scratches (one particularly deep) on the frame. The brake lever had also been slightly bent. For the price, it is able to be overlooked.
